Attic Lab is happy to present a mobile version of MyEOSWallet. The wallet is already available in Appstore — bit.ly/wallet_AStore and Google play — bit.ly/wallet_GPlay. Now your EOS funds are always under your control wherever you go.
Without any further ado let’s check out the main features and actions in MyEOSWallet and see what you can do with it.
So, when you open MyEOsWallet for the first time you need to add your account. The app asksto enter your private key for that account.
Enter your owner private key here and click ‘next’.
The first screen you see is the tab ‘wallet’.
There are 3 more tabs at the bottom: Resources, Voting and Settings. We are going to talk about them a little later. First let’s see what we have in the tab ‘Wallet’.
The main part of the screen is obviously your balance, here you can see your total, staked and liquid (the amount that can be used right away) EOS.
In the top right-hand corner there is a button for scanning QR codes which greatly simplifies the process of sending tokens. Basically, just scan and send. Furthermore, the button can be used to access various exchanges, like https://newdex.io/ Under the QR code button there is a name of the account with a drop-down menu.
You can manage several accounts simultaneously. Tap it in order to add, create or delete accounts if necessary.
Apart from that, you can add different EOS tokens to your wallet. Tap the ‘Add token’ button and select a necessary one. Alternatively, it is possible to add your own token to the list.
The last thing on this screen are the ‘send’ and ‘receive’ buttons that allow you to, well, send and receive funds. By the way, receiving is also enabled through sharing a QR code with the other person.
Resources tab is pretty simple. Here you can see the same ‘account management’ dropdown and all 3 EOS resources: RAM, CPU and Net. CPU and Net have the ‘edit’ buttons while RAM has 2 separate buttons ‘sell’ and ‘buy’. This tab allows you to manage the amount of EOS staking for Net or CPU as well as the amount of RAM to buy or sell.
Basically, the tab ‘Voting’ gives two options for voting: proxy voting or selecting 30 BP’s and voting for them. To vote for BP’s tap the button ‘Vote now’ at the top of the screen, select your favorite producers and tap ‘Apply vote’.
If you don’t know who to vote for, just tap the ‘Proxy’ button. Note though, when voting through proxy, the list of BP’s is removed.
On top of that, you can tap on each BP or candidate to see additional information about them such as their website address, total amount of votes, key and location.
And finally, the last tab of My EOS Wallet is ‘Settings’. It provides a few cool options like register as proxy and generate keys.
MyEOSWallet is now available in Appstore — bit.ly/wallet_AStore and Google play — bit.ly/wallet_GPlay. Try it out and see how you like it. If you have any suggestions or ideas regarding its work, don’t hesitate to contact Attic Lab.
